If you know me, you know I am a dessert person. Any time of day, doesn’t matter, I just can’t resist something sweet. I have absolutely no will power when it comes to this.
Salt & Straw is an ice cream shop that originated in Portland, Oregon but has found its way down to Los Angeles. On the corner of Abbot Kinney Blvd and California Ave is the cutest dessert location. Salt & Straw’s menu consists of standard classics invented by the brand and other flavors that revolve monthly to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
On this visit, I went for one of the classics and my favorite ice cream flavor, ever. Honey Lavender. The purple treat tastes refreshing and non-surprisingly, just how you think a flower would. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in Venice for a perfect treat to cool down your hot summer day!!
